YOUR FAITH TALK

Grace Daily Devotional

11/6/2024

"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain" (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Consistency in the Word is the secret to walking in the glory. Without it, your life will be no different from those who have not encountered God. Christianity is a life of consistency; your victory over sickness, disease, affliction, lack, and the cohorts of hell is eternal. And by eternal, I mean consistent--being in a constant state of victory irrespective of the presence of adversity.  The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 1:14, "But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of Him everywhere." In other words, you don't win today and lose tomorrow. Your victory is consistent.

God has done all that He needed to do to make consistent victory possible. He is not going to make you more victorious than you already are right now. Even as you read this devotional, there is an anointing on your life that is bringing in the right resources to ensure that you experience triumph and victory today. However, it is your responsibility to see that your victory in Christ is captured in your experiences. And you do this by being consistent in your faith talk.

I am yet to encounter anyone that has achieved greatness without applying the principle of consistency. And the opposite is also true. Just ask anyone who is underachieving in life; most will identify a problem with their consistency. Underachievers are typically consistently inconsistent.

In Joshua 1:8, the Lord said to Joshua, "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." Notice what papa God said, "...meditate on it day and night." He was admonishing Joshua to be consistent with his confession and meditation of the Word. So don't say you are healed today and say tomorrow that you are sick. Be consistent with your confession of faith. If you are not, the glory of Word will elude your experiences. Hebrews 10:23 says, "Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]."

I urge you today to be steadfast and immovable in your confession, worship, devotion, love, generosity, and patience. Let nothing sway your mind from the Word. God's Word never fails.

God bless you!

Faith-Filled Confession:

My life consistently displays the reality of God's power.  I have no sad, gloomy, or down days. I will not be brought under by any entity. I am above only, and I always win to the glory of Jesus! Hallelujah!

Prayer Direction

"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain" (1 Corinthians 15:58).

  1. Pray that God’s people will remain steadfast, fervent and unmovable in the face of contrary wind and storm.

  2. Pray that they will advance and blossom in all of God’s will concerning them.

  3. Pray that our church will experience a prolific growth and expansion this month. That the brethren will run with the vision like never before. That through them, the kingdom of God will increase.
