YOU ARE THE ORACLE OF GOD

Grace Daily Devotional

1/1/2025

“If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” (1 Peter 4:11)

The Christian is a speaker of the mind of God. He or she, at moments notice, can tap into God and speak the mind of the Lord concerning any situation. In 1 Corinthians 2:16, the Bible says, “For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.” In other words, not everyone has the mind of the LORD but you do. And by virtue of your access to the mind of God, you ought always to speak like God.

Brothers and sisters, the time when we spoke carelessly has now come to a glorious end. And while this in itself is good news, it is an indication to steward the mysteries of God with maturity. Paul said, “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things” (1 Corinthians 13:11)

The putting away of childish things in this context means that in any situation you find yourself, this year, first check in your spirit for a response. Recognize that your spirit is God’s instrument for guiding you into the truth about anything. Proverbs 20:27 says, “The spirit of a man is the lamp of the LORD, Searching all the inner depths of his heart.” Next, you must understand with clarity the mind of the Holy Spirit about the thing He reveals to know how to speak it forth whether as a prophecy, as counsel, or in general conversation. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 illuminates this for us when it says, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

As God’s oracle, you must speak with the tongue of the learned. As it says in Isaiah 50:4, “The Lord GOD has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned.” This means that you will be speaking accurately based on the depth of knowledge of God’s word.

To properly fulfil the mandate of being God’s oracle and speaking as such, you must set your mind to study the Word of God like never before in 2025. As Colossians 3:16 admonishes, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Make up your mind to study and listen to our messages continuously. It is a year to be lavish with the Word so that you are constantly shaping and reshaping your world by Word of God. Refuse to be quiet this year. Rather, make up your mind to tap into the reservoir of divine knowledge to pull answers out of the mind of God about everything and anything in Jesus’ name.

Have a great day.

Faith-Filled Confession

I am God’s oracle in my family, workplace and wherever I find myself. I speak the word of God  in season and out of season as a ministry of grace. Everyone who hears me, experiences God’s mind, finds succour and is brought darkness today. Whenever I open my mouth, I am conscious that I am God’s oracle and as His oracle, I speak. Hallelujah!
