You are Far Above

“[You, in Christ, are] far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church.” (Ephesians 1:21-22)

Headship is your default setting in Christ, in all three realms; in heaven, on earth and in hell. Nothing should ever put you under. One time, God conveyed a promise to the children of Israel through Moses. He said, “And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them” (Deuteronomy 28:13). But this promise remained unfulfilled until Christ (Jesus and His Church) because the children of Israel couldn’t keep the condition upon which the promise was to be realized. 

However, the Bible says, “For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes.

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us” (2 Corinthians 1:19-20). In Christ, you have been made the head. All you need to do is declare your headship. Declare that your influence in that office, at that school or in your community is such that non-believers defer to you for counsel before making important decisions. Declare that you always have a head start because headship is yours in Christ. 

It is instructive to understand that nothing ought to be able to subordinate, subdue or subjugate the life of God in you. Ephesian 1:19 describes you as being “far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.” Maybe you don’t get it, you have been given a name (an authorization code) that is above every other name, “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth” (Phillippians 2:10). 

You have the authorization code to dominate cancer. You have the authorization code to dominate death. You have the authorization code to live the life of God’s righteousness. “But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:8-9). This year, the secret to unlock your Headship is to use the Name of Jesus. What do I mean by using it? I mean, make demands on and in the name of Jesus. In John 16:24, the Bible says, “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” What I am saying is, replace “ask” with “demand” and you get a clearer picture of how to actualize your headship.

Use the Name of Jesus. Have a great day 

Faith-Filled Confession

I am far above a rule in this world, in heaven and in hell because I have the Name of Jesus. I make demands on the Name of Jesus so that my joy is full and complete. No sickness, defeat or circumstance is permitted to overwhelm me in Jesus’ name. I have perfect peace and I lack nothing. Hallelujah!

PRAYING FOR SOUL WINNERS

Psalms 149:5-9.

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two edged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD. 

1. Pray that the brethren are stirred up (unashamed and unafraid)  for soul winning all the time.  Declare that the light of the glorious gospel on their lips shines brighter and prevail in the nations, resulting in harvest of souls.

2. Pray that the Lord will puts words in their mouths to speak that will neutralize every evil scheme and deception everywhere they are, in Jesus' Name.  

3. Pray and Declare that no influence, no pressure from wicked and unreasonable men will sway the brethren from the path of truth in the name of our Lord Jesus.
