With God

Grace Daily Devotional

1/27/2025

“But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

When God reveals Himself to you, there are two ways to respond. The first is to accept Him as He says He is. In Exodus 6:3, God says, “I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name LORD I was not known to them.” And what did Moses do? The Bible says, “Moses relayed this message to the Israelites, but on account of their broken spirit and cruel bondage, they did not listen to him” (Exodus 6:9 BSB)

As the Lord reveals Himself to you as the God of the Impossible, you need to relay the message to those impossible situations in your life. Maybe it’s a diagnosis or a drinking problem. Maybe it’s a situation with accommodation or your marriage has been in a rot for a while. Your first response should now be the announcement of “With God, all things are possible.”

And maybe, there are no impossible situations in your life right now, the Lord is saying, stretch yourself to attempt the seemingly impossible. The Lord cannot manifest in your life, as He wants to, if there are no giant projects that you are attempting. For some, the  Lord cannot manifest,  as He wants to, if there is no terminal diagnosis?

The second thing is to act in the revelation. What do I mean? Every revelation that God gives you of Himself is always accompanied by an instruction or set of instructions. Mary “…said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it” (John 2:5). Simon said, “…nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net” (Luke 5:5). The God of Impossibility will not introduce Himself to you the way He has to have you go through the same motions, maintain the same associations or even run on the same budget that you did last year. He is going to stretch you with mind-boggling instructions in the place of prayer and fellowship. But like Mary said, “Whatever He says to you, do it” (John 2:5).

Let your heart be quick to listen and your body be quick to execute this year, even when the instructions make very little sense. The Lord may demand you sow certain seeds, sow. He may demand you to volunteer in certain groups. Volunteer. He may assign you a completely new responsibility, jump at it with joy, knowing that with Him these things are now possible. Romans 12:6-8 says, “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let usprophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.”

And when He tells you to do something, don’t forget to do it with joy. Remember, with God, all things are possible.

Have a great day!

Faith-Filled Confession

With God, everything is possible to me. I live excellently this year, knowing that the God of the Impossible, inside me, has made every project accomplishable; every battle winnable and every obstacle surmountable. Hallelujah!

PRAYER DIRECTION

Luke 5:12-13 declares: “And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him” This was God’s will in manifestation.

Act 10:38 says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him”. Isaiah 33:24 (NIV) says, “No one living in Zion will say, ”I am ill…”

Pray for those who are sick, that they receive the good news of divine healing and health in Christ; God’s grace and mercy extended to them for quick recovery and perfection, as the healing power of Christ is manifested in their bodies.

Pray specially for Christians experiencing various health challenges; that their faith be strengthened and the reality of divine health, which we have in Christ, would become their consciousness and vital experience.

Declare that everywhere they are, they’re raised up healthy and strong, serving the Lord unhindered. Amen.
