"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life." (John 5:24)
As the new person in Christ, you have the Zoe life. John writes in his epistle to you and says, "And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life." (1 John 5:11-12). But what is this life and why is it important? This life is the life of God, exactly as the Lord lives it. It is the most supreme quality of life that any being could be afforded. It is a life that does not end and it cannot be tampered with by any outside force in the entire universe.
The importance of knowing about this life is to prevent you from abusing it as many believers do. You may ask how you might abuse the life of God that is in you and I will say that any situation, adversity or condition that contradicts the word of God that you allow in your experience is an abuse of the Zoe life. These abuses of the God-life are often enacted and sustained by confessions that do not tally with the Word of God. Proverbs 6:2 says, "You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth." So, to avoid abusing the life of God in you, speak only what God has said in His Word.
More importantly, the scriptures say that the new creation has passed from death to life. This means that the one that is born again should have died to the old consciousness, curated by sensory interaction, in exchange for a consciousness that is curated entirely by the Word of God. Just the way a human baby has no recollection of the 40 weeks it spent in the womb (even though it exercised consciousness there) the one that is born again should have no recollection of the consciousness of existence before his or her new birth in Christ.
The consciousness a Christian should have should be exclusively determined by the Word of God. For example, the Christian should only have a consciousness of thanksgiving in every matter. There should never be anything that can make the Christian complain or murmur. Why? In two distinct witnesses, the Bible says, “Do all things without complaining and disputing” (Philippians 2:18) and then, "...in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
The unregenerate person might have rational reasons to complain about something but Papa God says, not you. In your case, give thanks and if things do not suit you, change it. Hear me, can anything make God complain when He can just change it? This is the same Zoe life that God has, so refuse to subject that life to any adversity by acting based on the old consciousness.
Determine like Paul that you only want to be conscious about the things for which Jesus died and was raised from the dead. As the scriptures say, "Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ" (Philippians 3:8).
Spend time to thank God today for His life in you, knowing that there will never be a time again when you will ever complain or murmur about anything.
Have a great day.
Faith-Filled Confession
I live the God-life. I think, talk and act in conformity to the life that pulsates beneath my chest, knowing that as the Father has life in Himself, so do I. My life is full of thanksgiving; the thanksgiving of a victor, and not a victim. I am God-inside-consciousness because greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. Hallelujah!
PRAYER DIRECTION
Ephesians 3:16-19
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Pray that our brethren will walk in the revelation of the love of God in increasing measure, bearing fruit in every good work, fulfilling their purpose without reproach.
Pray that they will experience more visitation from the Holy Ghost that will catapult their walk with God to a whole new level of conviction and faith.
Pray and declare that every evil plan against them is dismantled in Jesus name. Declare that they walk in victory and health in Jesus name.
