THE LIFE IN CHRIST: A LIFE OF UNFATHOMABLE WISDOM

Grace Daily Devotional

12/13/2024

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)

The man or woman in Christ ought to embody completion; a state of never needing anything. However, many are unlearned about what it means to be in Christ. In Colossians  2:9-10 NIV, the Bible says, "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority." So, if we are in Christ then we have access to this fullness of the Father's Deity. Think about it for a second. What is an impossible situation for God? If there is nothing, then there is no impossibility with you.

Understand that nothing on this planet or in this existence should confound you because in the same Christ in which you live "are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (Colossians 2:3). There is no matter for which you do not have the answer.

In 1 Corinthians 1:30, the Bible says, "But of Him [God] you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption." The Christ in who all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge dwell is your wisdom. Brothers and sisters, if this is true, then nothing in this world should be a puzzle to you.

Daniel didn't have what you have and yet the Bible declares that he was able to tell Nebuchadnezzar his  dream and interpret it when the king refused to disclose it to anyone and even executed people who couldn't tell him his dream and interpret it (in Daniel 2:24-49). But hear what Daniel said about the whole situation. In Daniel 2:30, the Daniel says, "But as for me, this secret has not been revealed to me because I have more wisdom than anyone living, but for our sakes who make known the interpretation to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your heart." Notice how he connected the ability to tell the king his dream and interpret it to wisdom. You are greater than Daniel for the Bible declares that Daniel and all the Old Testament figures could not be made perfect without us (in Hebrews 11:40).

Hear me, there is no puzzle you can't crack. The life of Christ in you is saturated by the wisdom and knowledge of the Almighty God. What you haven't done to live at the level of wisdom that is yours, is rise in your consciousness of it. After Daniel had manifested the wisdom of God, King Nebuchadnezzar had this to say, "...Truly your God is the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.” (Daniel 2:47) And in Daniel 2:48, the Bible says, "Then the king promoted Daniel and gave him many great gifts; and he made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief administrator over all the wise men of Babylon."

Imagine if you lived out this life of unfathomable wisdom, what do you think the outcome would be in your family, church and community? Who would take notice of you and want what you have? How might your witness of Jesus be more potent if you tapped into this wisdom that is already inside you?

Think on these things and have a great day!

Faith-Filled Confession

As the Father has life in Himself, so has He given to me to have His life in me. I have the life of God in me now. Therefore, I have overcome the world and its distractions. I have overcome the world and its deception. I have overcome the world with its traps and snares. I am who God says I am. I have what God says I have. And I can do what God says I can do. Hallelujah!
