THE LIFE IN CHRIST: A LIFE OF TRANSPORTATION

Grace Daily Devotional

12/14/2024

"[And I pray] that the participation in and sharing of your faith may produce and promote full recognition and appreciation and understanding  and precise knowledge of every good [thing] that is ours in [our identification with] Christ Jesus [and unto His glory]." (Philemon 1:6 AMPC)

The man or woman in Christ ought to be a growing person. Galatians 4:1 says, "Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all." This means that there is a kind of mastery that the Christian ought to attain; a mastery of all things. The Christian ought to be a master of sickness and disease; a master of healing and health; a master of poverty and prosperity such that he or she is able to command outcomes desirable to the expansion of the kingdom of God.

However, this mastery requires  journeying to it through the instrumentality of an awareness of every good thing that is in you based on your connection to Christ Jesus. There are treasures in you that you must travel inwards to bring forth from your heart. Luke 6:45 says, "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks."

Let me show you a mystery, do you know that God put eternity inside you? Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end." No one could find out what God does from the beginning to end before Jesus was raised from the dead but you can. and the Bible tells you how.

As you acknowledge every good thing that is in you in Christ Jesus, you can catapult yourself into any possibility. For example, the Bible says that in Christ, all the fullness of God dwells (Colossians 1:19). That means that everything that makes God, God, resides in Christ.

The Bible also locates you in Christ in Colossians 3:3 which says, "For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God." If your life is hidden in the same place where all the fullness of God dwells, what in the world can stop you?

As you acknowledge the things in you, like the love of God, which the Holy Ghost has placed in your heart (according to Romans 5:5), you transport that love from within you into a tangible expression of divine love that people around you can experience. This is the same principle you apply to the fruits of the Holy Spirit in your reborn spirit. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law" (Galatians 5:22-23). As you acknowledge the presence of these things in you, you transport them from your heart into the tangible experience that others have of you.

Be adept at learning from the Word of God, and acknowledging every good thing that is now in you as a result of your being in Christ. There is nothing that will be impossible to you.

Have a great day.

Faith-Filled Confession

As the Father has life in Himself, so has He given to me to have His life in me. I have the life of God in me now. Therefore, I have overcome the world and its distractions. I have overcome the world and its deception. I have overcome the world with its traps and snares. I am who God says I am. I have what God says I have. And I can do what God says I can do. Hallelujah!
