"Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place." (2 Corinthians 2:14)
The Christian is a trophy of Christ's victory in every situation or circumstance. The Amplified Classic version of 2 Corinthians 2:14 states: "But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ’s victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere." A trophy is always the evidence of victory and this victory is spread abroad when the believer vocalizes the Word of God. See, the life in Christ is charted by making copious confessions of the Word of God, which is why it is perilous for a Christian to be shy of the subject of faith-filled confessions.
Spirits, godly and ungodly, are put on notice about your invincibility when you make confessions of the Word of God. This is the grace that makes you attractive to those who have been drawn by the Lord and also sends a note of impending judgment to those in outright rebellion against the Lord. 2 Corinthians 2:15-16 says, "For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?"
The Bible says, "Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place" (2 Corinthians 2:14). Note, that it is the thanksgiving directed to God for His leadership that diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
And this is not necessarily about saying, thank you God. But as Hebrews 13:15 describes, "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name." To profess His name, means to exalt His Word as final authority through faith filled confession.
So as a believer, you must be deliberate about heightening your God-consciousness by confessing the Word of God for prolonged periods. The Zoe-life that you have received is most operable by your confessions of the Word of God. Hear me, prayer and fasting are great catalysts but nothing comes close to growing in your God-consciousness through faith-filled confessions.
Declare that you are who God says you are and that you have what God says you have. Declare the ability of God that He says you have too, and let the fragrance that brings you the needed recognition and authority in the realm of the spirit to fulfill your calling flow to and through you in the name of Jesus.
Have a great day!
Faith-Filled Confession
I live the God-life. I think, talk and act in conformity to the life that pulsates beneath my chest, knowing that as the Father has life in Himself, so do I. Hallelujah!
