"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)
The life in Christ is not a life that requires freedom. Many times, believers in Christ sing songs and even offer prayers that are themed around freedom or getting free from something and I am pushed to ask: freedom from what?
The reason these believers sing or pray in such a manner is that they haven't been taught who they truly are. They know not the manner of being that they are. For starters, Colossians 3:3 says, "For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God."
Question. If your life is hidden with Christ in God, who is bold enough to get through God, catch it and hold it in captivity? The very language of asking for or even declaring your freedom is an insult. Can someone hold God in captivity? Think about it for a second, if the very conception of something or someone holding Papa God is so ridiculous to conceive, how are some so bold to badmouth the life that He gave them with songs about gaining freedom. How are they Christians and still in bondage to sin and the flesh?
But someone might say, I have been struggling with an addiction or an ailment and I would reply that your struggle is not with any addiction or ailment. It is with your heart and mouth. Proverbs 6:2 says, "You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth." Did not the scriptures say that "For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10). The addiction or ailment feeds off the confessions of such believers to remain present in their lives.
You need to repent, if this is you. God gave you His hallowed life and for many, they have done so little with it. As we begin to wrap up this year of the God-kind, there still so much left to enter into from the revelation of God's word that if you opened your heart to receive, things that seemed daunting would become walkovers.
Never be the person that says you need freedom. The life in you has zero-limitations so do not put any limitations on it. It's an abuse of the Zoe life. Rather, declare your limitlessness, declare your prosperity and declare that as God is, so are you in this world.

Faith-Filled Confession
I live the God-life. I think, talk and act in conformity to the life that pulsates beneath my chest, knowing that as the Father has life in Himself, so do I. Hallelujah !
PRAYER DIRECTION
Ephesians 3:16-19
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Pray that our brethren will walk in the revelation of the love of God in increasing measure, bearing fruit in every good work, fulfilling their purpose without reproach.
Pray that they will experience more visitation from the Holy Ghost that will catapult their walk with God to a whole new level of conviction and faith.
Pray and declare that every evil plan against them is dismantled in Jesus name. Declare that they walk in victory and health in Jesus name.
