“Then Elisha said, “Hear the word of the LORD. Thus says the LORD: ‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.’ ” (2 Kings 7:2)
The context of how Elisha gave a word that turnaround Israel’s economy in 24 hours is worthy of study because it applies to the Christian today. The Bible says, there was such perplexity in Israel to the point people began to eat their own children. As a Christian, you can go through financial difficulties to the point of not being able to pay your rent or just getting by at a job, living from paycheck to paycheck.
However, this is not God’s plan. God’s plan is that you realize that there is a word–what Peter called, “a more sure word of prophecy” that you ought to speak to set you up for life. Why many believers don’t do this is because they haven’t been taught. Think about it for a second. Elisha spoke a sure word and that word caused the actors, materials and circumstances to line up so that within 24 hours, that word was a reality.
Understand that God designed you to live a life that is more-than-enough according to His power inside you and not according to your labour or business acumen. Ephesians 3:20-21 says, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
So Pastor, what do I do? Speak in tongues until you get a word concerning your provision. Understand that there is no money in heaven. All the money you would ever need is here. The person responsible for keeping the money away from you is the devil. However, if you will speak in tongues until a word comes forth in the form of a note of victory concerning your finances, it would cause the people, activities, circumstances and resources to gravitate to you. Hear me, the Lord would rather you won souls, prayed and studied your Bible that all of this workist and hustle culture that has gotten a hold on His people.
Determine how much you want to claim and begin to speak in tongues until a sure word of prophecy is procured concerning your finances. Let the struggling end.

Faith-Filled Confession
