Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes” (Matthew 6:34 MSG).
Do you know that you can live a worry-free every day? I am talking about not knowing enough to ever worry about your family, finances, health, etc. This is not a gimmick or feel-good proposition. This is the reality that your salvation in Christ has brought to you. Jesus said in John 10:10, “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” If Jesus came to you today in bodily form and said to you, “I have given you a rich and satisfying life. Go and dominate your world." What would be your response? In considering how you would respond, please remember that you are dealing with the Almighty God. The Spirit of God said to me, "Son, tell them that I have given them a RICH and SATISFYING life. A life that is superior to the devil and every element of this world. Tell them that they have prevailed over every adverse circumstance that they will ever face because of my life and Spirit that is in them.” He spoke these words to me and asked me to share them with the world.
Saint, this is the eternal reality of who you are in Christ Jesus. So, stop hoping that you will live a worry-free life when you get to Heaven. Heaven is for victors; those who by their faith have conquered hell and death through Christ Jesus. Besides, there are no contrary forces or conditions in Heaven that require your faith. In Christ Jesus, the contradictions that paralyze ordinary men have been subdued. Jesus put it this way: “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world, you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration..."John 16:33 AMPC. In other words, the people of the world will be plagued by tribulation, trials, distress, and frustration without a way out. But this is not the report concerning those in Christ Jesus. In Christ, we have perfect peace. I like to say that Christ is a worry-free zone. Hallelujah!
Am I then saying that you will not be faced with tribulation, trials, distress, or frustrating situations? Emphatically no! You may face these things and more, but not as a victim. Instead, you confront them as a victor in Christ. In the same John 16:33, Jesus said, "...Be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” So it doesn’t matter what comes your way; their power over you was stripped away by Jesus. Knowing this, why should you worry? Nothing physical or spiritual has the power to harm. And not only that, but God is obligated to turn everything that you will ever face to your advantage. So cheer up and laugh your way through. You are a victor!
Praise God.
Faith-Filled Confession:
I have great peace today. I will not stumble. The peace of God which transcends all understanding guards my heart and mind today in Christ Jesus. Amen.
