“They had come to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases, and those troubled by unclean spirits were healed” (Luke 6:18).
Miracles are inevitable when faith mingles with an atmosphere that is charged with the presence of God. And if you are filled with the Holy Spirit, it doesn’t take much to charge up a place with the presence of God. Jesus said in Matthew 18:20, “For where two or three gather in My name, there am I with them.” And when heartfelt-continued-praise is released with the consciousness that He is present with us, the result is an atmosphere that is ready for the move of the Spirit of God. In such atmosphere, all you have to do is to acknowledge His presence and release your faith for whatever miracle you desire. When your faith mingles with His presence, you can be assured that you will have whatever you have desired of Him. You may ask, “How do I release my faith?” It’s very simple: just act on your believing. Let your actions be driven by the invisible - the Word of God. Don’t wait to see anything in the natural to believe that you have received your miracle.
The story of the ten lepers in Luke 17:11-19 is a great example of how this works. Ten of them got healed, but only one was made whole. The Bible says, “And it came to pass, as He (Jesus) went to Jerusalem, that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. And as He entered into a certain village, there met Him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: and they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when He saw them, He said unto them, go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And He said unto him, arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.”
There is something I want you to observe here: First, all then lepers believed that Jesus could heal them of their leprosy (Hebrews 11:6). Secondly, they responded to the Word in the affirmative without seeing any tangible manifestation. The Bible tells us that they got cleansed as they went. They didn’t wait to see the manifestation of their healing. An example of this is when a minister prays for you and declares that you are healed. You may still feel symptoms of the illness, but you must believe and respond to the Word given. The Word must become more real to you than the pain or symptoms that you experience. The last and most important step was what one of the lepers did - he testified of his healing immediately and gave thanks to God. Ten of them received their healing, but only one came back to show gratitude to Jesus. And when he did, Jesus said to him, “Your faith hath made you whole.” Put plainly, Jesus was saying, “Because you came back to thank Me, you are now made whole.” So, not only did this gentleman receive his healing like the other nine, he got something more - he was made whole. He got back everything (finances, relationships, career etc.) that was lost as a result of the illness with interest. I like to say that he was healed and restored like nothing ever happened. And I believe if you would release your faith like this man, you would see and walk in tangible miracles right where you are because God is not a respecter of persons (Romans 2:11). What He did for one, He will do for another under the same circumstance called faith. When faith mingles with the Word, and the Word is acted upon, a miracle is released.
So, let your faith mingle with the Word of God and by faith, receive your miracle, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
God bless you!
