"Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping - believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, "That's how many descendants you will have!" (Romans 4:18).
On many occasions, I have been asked, "What do I do when I do not see the manifestation of the things that I have prayed for?" My answer is always the same: "DO NOT LOSE HOPE." If you have done all that the Lord has asked of you, it is time to rejoice! Some may say, "Pastor, I want to rejoice, but I need a miracle right now!" "I need a change right now!" "I need something to break forth for me right now!"
Saints, let me remind you that if you have done what the Word instructs of you, you already have your miracle! The manifestation of a miracle can be both tangible and intangible. A miracle is not validated by your ability to relate to it using your senses. It's important to note that it doesn't always come in the shape and size that you desire. God heard your prayers and gave you specific instructions. And if you have done as He instructed, then you ought to trust Him, regardless of how things may look or feel. Trust God's response. Don't consider it insignificant because no response from God is void of the supernatural. Don't allow the situation to govern your peace or confession. Even when it may appear as though things have worsened, don't be fooled by the shenanigans of circumstances. If you have acted on the Word, in God's mind, the circumstance is now history. So you must consider it to be history as well. Praise God!
Romans 4:18 says, "Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping -believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, "That's how many descendants you will have!"
Child of God, whatever you may consider to be insurmountable is nothing in the presence of God. Abraham had every reason to give up and return to a life of recklessness, but he didn't. The Scriptures tell us that "Abraham's faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah's womb. Abraham never wavered in believing God's promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this, he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever He promises."
So don't ever consider giving up because giving up is not an option. God has brought you this far. And "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:6). I may not know the enormity of the situation, but I know that it is nothing before God.
So why don't you magnify your God instead of the problem? Do not call any situation by a name that God has not called it. If God called it dead, don't call it alive. If God has not said your marriage is dead or a mistake, don't call it that. If God has said there is restoration and promotion for you, let that be your confession. Stop confessing hopelessness. Also, do not take ownership of the problem. Align your thoughts and confessions with the will of God, and in no time, you will see the manifestation of what God has said.
I'll say it again: Giving up is not an option. You are a Victor!
Faith-filled confession:
My faith is unwavering because my trust is in God alone. I believe His Word entirely. And I know that He who has begun a good work in me will surely complete it in Jesus' name. And so, I rejoice! Hallelujah!
